In November 2021, Alchemy Film & Arts formed Bridgit: Building Better Bridges in partnership with Folkestone Fringe (Kent, England) and Fine Arts Institute Leipzig (FAIL) as part of Cultural Bridge, a new pilot programme promoting partnerships between the UK and Germany that foster artistic collaboration and cultural democracy.

Exploring organisational structures and the challenges and opportunities of participatory practice, Bridgit uses play and conversation to develop better understandings of the distinct geographies and cultural contexts of Hawick, Folkestone and Leipzig in parallel to one another.

Cultural Bridge is funded by British Council, Fonds Soziokultur, Arts Council England, Arts Council Northern Ireland, Wales Arts International, Creative Scotland and Goethe Institut.
