EXHIBITION: LANGUAGE MAKES ME AN UNCERTAIN PERSON
Forage/Image, our project exploring the relationship between artists, landscapes and environment, concludes with Language makes me an uncertain person by South Korean artist Darae Baek. Join us for the Exhibition Opening on Friday 14 February, 6pm at 53 High Street, Hawick, TD9 9BP.

PROJECT: ONCE UPON A TIME IN HAWICK
Our major new project exploring the identities, industries and stories of Hawick launched on 31 January with details of a year-long programme that includes regular screenings, film exhibitions, several artist residencies, research and discussion events, the production of a brand new Hawick Pictorial, a digital skills development programme and more.

SCREENING: SONS OF HEROES
Once Upon a Time in Hawick continues on Friday 21 February with a screening of Sons of Heroes, the 1964 historical epic dramatizing Hawick’s 1514 Battle of Hornshole, made by long-running amateur collective Hawick Film and Video Group.

EVENT: LOOKING, SEEING, SHOWING
On 13 – 15 March we host artist filmmakers Anna Raczynski and Ed Webb-Ingall for a weekend of screenings, informal discussions and a hands-on filmmaking workshop exploring community video.
