Project Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Lead to manage the delivery of In a Land of Milk Snatchers, an ambitious new project delivered by Alchemy Film & Arts across the next 18 months.

In a Land of Milk Snatchers will engage national and local partners, working with artist parents and communities through participatory, lens-based and place-based methods. Taking place within the context of long-term systemic cuts to rural provision and infrastructure within the Scottish Borders and wider UK, the project seeks to challenge assumptions around power, care, labour and public space.

In a Land of Milk Snatchers is made possible with support from Culture Collective and William Grant Foundation. Culture Collective is a network of participatory arts projects across Scotland, shaped by local communities alongside artists and creative organisations and funded by Creative Scotland.

Working with Alchemy’s Directors, wider team, artists and project partners, the Project Lead will manage the overall coordination of planning, production, and legacy.

They will uphold Alchemy’s values, policies and frameworks in the delivery of a positive and meaningful creative project.
