Esmé Babineaux and Sebastian Lord, participants of Outwith, our community filmmaking programme for young people in the Scottish Borders, programmed Shaleece Haas’ 2016 documentary Real Boy as part of the second edition of Queer Borders Film Festival, delivered by Scottish Borders LGBT Equality. Esmé and Seb joined Shaleece for a Sitdown, under Alchemy’s guidance and mentorship, which was shown alongside the film at its screening in Hawick on 25 September 2021.
