2011 Film and moving image work submission form

Please use this form (one per entry) to submit the details of film and moving image works.
After completing the form you will be given an address to post your preview DVD to. However, if you are able to provide us with a location at which we can view or download a full preview, there will be no need to send us anything further in the post. Please make sure any physical media sent to us is postmarked no later than 10th June 2011.

In order to fill out this form you will need the following information to hand:
- Exact running time of the work.
- Some basic technical detail about aspect ratio and available screening formats.
- Short description/synopsis (30 - 100 words).
- Short biography of Director (30 - 100 words).
- Production credits
- A digital still image of the work.

Please select as many as you have available. Please note that while we accept DVD's for preview purposes, we do not usually use DVDs for actual screenings. We prefer to receive higher quality digital video files to be edited into our screening programme.
Please describe the available screening format(s)
Please supply as much information as possible about the original source format of the work, ie frame rate (ie. 24 fps, 25fps, 30fps, 50fps, 60fps etc.), resolution (ie. 1920 x1080, 1280x720, 768x576, 720x480 etc.) video container (ie. file extension- Quicktime Mov, AVI etc..) and video codec (ie. which compressor used - H.264, AppleProRes etc..). If you don’t know how to answer this, leave it blank, but we may have to ask you for it later.
Please list date and venue/festival name of any previous or forthcoming public screenings, including any festivals or gallery installations.
Please provide a short synopsis or description of at least 30 words but no more than 100 words. It would be helpful if you could in some way relate your description to this year's festival theme - landscape and the four elements: earth, air, fire and water.
Please provide a brief biography / filmography of the Director. At least 30 words but no more than 100 words.

Please upload a still image from the submitted work that we may be able to use in the website and/or printed programme.

An optional second still image may be uploaded.
Would showing this work at Alchemy be a public screening premiere in either Scotland, UK, Europe or the World?
Please include the web address (such as a private Vimeo page or personal website) where we can preview a full-length version of the work. Make sure to include any special instructions / temporary passwords for downloading or viewing the preview.
