The fifteenth edition of Alchemy Film and Moving Image Festival, the UK’s festival of experimental film and artists’ moving image, will unfold with the warmth, hospitality and solidarity for which it is known.
ABOUT US
Alchemy Film & Arts is based in the Scottish Borders town of Hawick. We work with artists and communities across local, national and international contexts, using film as a way to come together, have conversations and strengthen community.
FILM TOWN
Film Town is our award-winning year-round programme of community filmmaking, skills development and creative learning, which places inclusion, equity and social justice at its centre through collaboration, partnerships and critical practice.
RESIDENCIES
We host artists in residence throughout the year to support the creation of new work researching and responding to the borders, boundaries and lines of Hawick and the Scottish Borders.
