Festival Trailers
Our three 2025 festival trailers consist of offcuts from our closing film, Araya (1959), which have been newly digitised and restored by Andrés Prypchan.
Screening publicly at the festival for the first time, Andrés’s restoration of Araya offcuts was endorsed by the film’s director, Margot Benacerraf, and forms the basis of a discursive thread across the festival around diaspora, displacement and extraction in Venezuela, curated by Alchemy artist in residence Francisco Llinas.
