Using film as a way to come together, have conversations and strengthen community.
MOVING IMAGES
Moving Images is a solar-powered cinema inside a converted 1980s caravan initiated by Scottish Borders-based artist and curator Kerry Jones.
Hosting experimental film, artists’ moving image, social and environmental justice films and filmmaking workshops, the caravan received its first outing at the twelfth Alchemy Film and Moving Image Festival, and is now touring a community programme of screenings and workshops across South of Scotland.
Moving Images was funded as part of The Teviot, the Flag and the Rich, Rich Soil, Alchemy Film & Arts’ programme exploring the borders, boundaries and lines of Hawick and the Scottish Borders.
