WOLVES FROM ABOVE
Demelza Kooij‘s award-winning Wolves from Above will be shown for the first time in a new exhibition context on Hawick High Street in November 2019. The film, which won a Jury Prize at the 2019 Ann Arbor Film Festival, captures the interactions and behaviours of a pack of wolves through a single drone shot, exploring spectatorship and the role of technology in defining human-animal relationships.
The exhibition is part of Forage/Image, an Alchemy Film & Arts project exploring the relationship between artists, landscapes and environment. More information about Forage/Image can be found here.
Demelza will join us for a Q&A at the exhibition opening on 15 November and the exhibition will run until 29 November.
