Alchemy Film & Arts’ flagship event, the UK’s festival of experimental film and artists’ moving image, celebrates its fourteenth edition, 2 – 5 May, in the Scottish Borders town of Hawick.

Join us in the heart of the Scottish Borders for an international programme of more than 70 films across cinema screenings, moving-image exhibitions, live performances, and a Festival Ceilidh.

These are critical films, disruptive acts: interventions. Made in a spirit of speculation, generosity and resistance, they are presented here with the warmth and solidarity for which Alchemy is known.
