BREAKING THE SILENCE

In summer 2021, a group of service users from Border Women’s Aid collaborated with Alchemy Film & Arts and artist Lydia Beilby in filmmaking workshops using paint, animation and strips of film.

Combining animation with the participant’s recorded insights and landscapes of special meaning to them, Breaking the Silence articulates lived experiences and avenues of support that can be accessed through Border Women’s Aid.
