Culture Collective is a network of 26 participatory arts projects, shaped by local communities alongside artists and creative organisations. Funded by Scottish Government emergency COVID-19 funds through Creative Scotland, these projects will take place across Scotland from March 2021 to October 2022.
Culture Collective’s initial events series provides opportunities to share learning and insights, and to explore pertinent themes amongst participating projects.

Confirmed speakers include:
- Artair Donald – Gaelic artist in residence at Highland Culture Collective
- Jamie Rea – Multidisciplinary artist and deaf performer
- Tomiwa Folorunso – Writer, editor and creative producer, currently studying an MA in Cultural Studies
- Harry Josephine Giles – Writer and performer from Orkney whose verse novel Deep Wheel Orcadia was published by Picador in October 2021

- Lauren La Rose and Mark Lyken – Project Coordinator and Artist in Residence at Alchemy Film & Arts as part of The Teviot, the Flag, and the Rich, Rich Soil
- Kerry Jones – Alchemy-commissioned filmmaker and artist bursary recipient
- Rory Laycock – Artist with The Stove Network’s What We Do Now
- Lucy MacLeod – Outpost Arts
- Natalia Palombo and Robyn Wolsey – Director and Producer at Deveron Projects
- Michael Bowdidge – Community Development Lead at WHALE Arts
- Emma Jayne Park – Dancer, theatre maker, facilitator and activist
