FESTIVAL: EARLYBIRD DEADLINE

You have until midnight on Friday 4 September to submit your experimental shorts and features to next year’s Alchemy Film and Moving Image Festival at the reduced rate of £5 per entry. The final deadline, for all submissions entered at the regular rate, is Friday 4 December.

The eleventh edition of our annual flagship event takes place 29 April – 3 May 2021. As announced in last month’s newsletter, we are pleased to have upped screening fees for next year’s festival and are also offering waiver codes to any artist who needs one – no questions asked!

FILM TOWN: SCOTTISH CHARITY AWARDS

We are delighted that Film Town, the community filmmaking project of Alchemy Film & Arts, is a finalist in this year’s Scottish Charity Awards. Shortlisted in the Demonstrating Digital category, Film Town is also up for a People’s Choice award, which is decided each year by the public.
