FILM TOWN

        “Alchemy puts Hawick on the map as Scotland’s Film Town” 
        ⁠— Southern Reporter, June 2018

Film Town is Alchemy Film & Arts’ award-winning year-round programme of community engagement, skills development and creative learning.

 Through collaboration, direct partnerships and critical practice, Film Town works to the benefit of Hawick and Scottish Borders communities, placing inclusion, equity and social justice at its centre. 

In 2022, Film Town won the SURF Award for Best Practice in Creative Regeneration, from Scotland’s regeneration forum in partnership with Scottish Government.
