HOMEGROWN & WILD: In praise of Vegetables, in film and spoken word.

A screening of short experimental films in celebration of the humble vegetable, including a classic lesbian vegetable romance and an astonishing asparagus animation. Accompanied by a special talk and reading by Borders based author Fi Martynoga: environmental activist, journalist, museum researcher, and a renowned figure in Scottish nature, history, sustainability and food circles. Fi has several widely praised books to her name, including A Handbook of Scotland’s Wild Harvests and A Handbook of Scotland’s Trees. Come along, and bring your favourite vegetable to add to our altar of vegetable appreciation!
