1. What’s your idea of perfect happiness?:
Perfect happiness is right now
2. What drives you to make films?:
I hate most films (I spent the last 15 years and 2 degrees watching films 12 hours a day), so my goal is to make something I don’t hate, and maybe other people who hate films will like my films
3. Where in the world would you most like to be right now?:
I would most like to be right where I am
4. When inspiration is waning, and you feel creatively sapped, what do you do to stay motivated?:
Listen to black metal until you want to burn down a church – then you take that aggression and put it into long hours of tedious editing

This one time, I had to choose between Trump and Clinton
8. What’s your greatest extravagance?:
running San Diego Underground Film Festival with money I need to use for the dentist (in the USA arts aren’t funded and healthcare is a joke)
9. What turns you on – creatively, spiritually or emotionally?:
my fiance
